This lake house renovation posed unique technical and aesthetic challenges due to its log construction, which limited typical electrical routing. Existing elements like radiators and stone-clinker finishes had to remain, so we designed clever concealment solutions using wood slats and new paint.

A striking 2.5-meter chandelier made from the client's hunting trophies became a custom focal point. We restructured the layout to separate residential and commercial kitchens, hidden behind discreet doors.

Bedrooms were compact with fixed structural elements, so we focused on spatial efficiency and lighting. Bathrooms remained in place but were refreshed with new tiles and LEDs. The overall style blends American lake house warmth with subtle Mediterranean touches, creating a cozy, sophisticated retreat—especially in the reimagined spa zone with a bar, bio fireplace, and TV.
 

The final result is a seamless blend of rustic charm and refined comfort. Every decision was made to preserve the soul of the house while bringing in warmth, function, and timeless style.
