Scandinavian Interior Design Apartment by Vaizu Studio.jpg

SOPHISTICATED
MODESTY - APARTMENT

A 46 m2 apartment project in a five story building which was developed during the early 1960s in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Apartment was completely empty with old stained wallpaper covering the walls and creaking floors at every step. Idea was to turn this space into a welcoming home with a new attitude and totally forget how this place was before.

Typically in such apartment blocks, the toilet and bathroom are separated into 2 very tight spaces therefore, to create a more spacious room, the toilet and bathroom were joined and extended onto the corridor. Also, entry to the kitchen was relocated to the other side that way opening even more space.

For this project we went with a Scandinavian and a bit of a contemporary mix approach to create a modest, clean lines aesthetic. Simplicity and deliberate use of pastel colors are the elements that bring this design to life without being pretentious.

PROJECT - RESIDENTIAL (46 m2) // VILNIUS, LITHUANIA.

STYLE - SCANDINAVIAN, CONTEMPORARY.

DESIGN - VAIZU STUDIO.
